Colca Canyon 2 Days 1 Night + Transfer to Puno

AREQUIPA /CHIVAY

07:30 to 08:00 We will pass by the different hotels to start our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura road, bordering the snowy Chachani to pampa Cañahuas (Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve), habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas. In the tocra wetlands we will be able to appreciate a variety of migratory birds, including flamingos. We will pass by the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). We will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, which is also the highest area of the trail (4,800 m.a.s.l.) from where we will appreciate a large part of the western mountain range.

13:00 to 13:30 approximately, Arrival to Chivay Installation in the hotel Lunch (on account of the pax) In the afternoon we will enjoy the thermal baths in the Calera whose thermal-medicinal waters oscillate between 35º to 38º degrees centigrade of temperature in the pools. 20th: dinner accompanied by a folk show.

CHIVAY/CRUZ DEL CONDOR/CHIVAY/ PUNO

06:00 Continental breakfast.

06:30 We will go to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, a strategic point to observe the canyon and the spectacular flight of the condor. On the way back, we will stop at the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, which have beautiful colonial churches, as well as at the choquetico and antahuilque viewpoints, from where we will observe the impressive terracing of the valley, the tombs and pre-Inca models.

Lunch.

13:00 Transfer Chivay to Puno, on the way we can make stops at lagoons, where we can see several lakes and various migratory birds.

19:00 - 20:00 Arrival in the city of Puno.
