Description

Enjoy the second deepest canyon in the world. With this full day tour you will be able to appreciate all the main points of view of the Colca Canyon from the hand of excellent bilingual guides with extensive experience in the canyon, you will also have the opportunity to appreciate the famous and majestic Condor birds in their natural habitat. During this tour you will be able to see the pre-Inca terraces along the valley and take pictures with llamas and alpacas. You will also have the option of enjoying the natural hot springs in a nearby village. At the end of the tour you will take the mobility for the transfer to the city of Puno.

Itinerary

3:00 am. - 3:30 am.Pick up at the different hostels for the transfer to the city of Chivay.

06:30 am. 7:00 am.We will have breakfast and then head to "La Cruz del Cóndor".

8:00 am. - 9:30 am.Viewpoint Cruz del Condor: Here we can appreciate the flight of the condors and the depth of the Colca Canyon for about an hour, during the tour we will observe the beautiful scenery of the canyon that mingles with the vegetation and the typical characters of the area.

9:30 am. - 11:00 am.Return to Chivay. On the way back to Chivay we will have different stops in outstanding points of the area such as the viewpoints of Antahuilque to observe the Inca and Pre-Inca terraces, the viewpoint of Choquetico to appreciate the hanging tombs.

Once in Chivay we will go to the thermal baths.

Lunch in Chivay (at passenger's expense).

13:15 Departure from Chivay to Puno. On the way, we will make some stops in places like the viewpoint of volcanoes "Patapampa", we will also pass by Tocrapampa, an area of wetlands where you can see South American camelids. We arrive to Patahuasi and make a stop at "Lagunillas", a viewpoint from where we can see lakes that look like mirrors and habitat of flamingos and other birds, our last stop will be in Puno.

19:00(Approximately) Arrival in the city of Puno and transfer to the lodging chosen by you within the city center.
