Description
Enjoy the second deepest canyon in the world. With this full day tour you will be able to appreciate all the main points of view of the Colca Canyon from the hand of excellent bilingual guides with extensive experience in the canyon, you will also have the opportunity to appreciate the famous and majestic Condor birds in their natural habitat. During this tour you will be able to see the pre-Inca terraces along the valley and take pictures with llamas and alpacas. You will also have the option of enjoying the natural hot springs in a nearby village.
Itinerary
03:00 am. - 03:30 am.Pick up at the different hostels for the transfer to the city of Chivay where we will have breakfast and then depart to the Cruz del Condor.
8.00 am - 9.30 am Cruz del Condor viewpoint: Here we can appreciate the flight of the condors and the depth of the Colca Canyon for about an hour, during the tour we will observe the beautiful scenery of the canyon that mingles with the vegetation and the typical characters of the area.
9.30 - 11.00 am Return to Chivay. On the way back to Chivay we will have different stops in outstanding points of the area such as the viewpoints of Antahuilque to observe the Inca and Pre-Inca terraces, the viewpoint of Choquetico to appreciate the hanging tombs.
Visit Yanke village: We will be able to enjoy the relaxing hot springs of 38°C, we will stay here for approximately 1h.
1.00 pm - 2.00 pmLunch in Chivay (at passenger's expense).
2.00 pm - 5.00 pmReturn by bus to Arequipa: Upon returning to the city of Arequipa we will make stops at the most outstanding sites, such as Patapampa, which is located at 4910 m.a.s.l., from here we can observe the 3 different volcanoes; Hualcahualca, Sabancaya and Ampampato; and the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, where we can appreciate the South American camelids such as vicuñas, llamas and alpacas.
5:00 pm (Approximately). Arrival to Arequipa.
