Itinerary
Day 1
LIMA - INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL

Reception and assistance upon your arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, a representative of our agency will give you your voucher with all the programming and will give you a brief explanation of the experience you are about to start. Afterwards we will transfer you to the selected hotel.

Day 2
LIMA: CITY TOUR + BUS LIMA - PARACAS

After breakfast at your hotel, we will start a guided tour of the most attractive and important sites of Lima, "The City of Kings". We will pick you up at your hotel at 09:00 am. Our tour will take you to the impressive historical center of Lima where you will appreciate the Grau Square, the Palace of Justice, the San Martin Square and the San Francisco de Asis Church with a Baroque style where you will also appreciate the catacombs used in the past as an ancient cemetery. Afterwards we will transfer you to the bus terminal in Lima where you will take the bus to Paracas where we will be waiting for you to take you to your selected accommodation.

Day 3
PARACAS: BALLESTAS ISLANDS + PARACAS BUS - NAZCA

After breakfast we will transfer you to the dock where you can take the 02 hour boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, on the way we will make the first stop at "El Candelabro", a giant figure carved in the sand on the side of a hill in the style of the Nazca Lines. We will continue our tour to the Ballestas Islands where we will observe sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins and hundreds of guano birds. In the afternoon transfer to the bus terminal and travel by bus to the city of Nasca where a representative will pick you up at the bus station to transfer you to the hotel in Nasca.

Day 4
FLIGHT OVER THE NAZCA LINES + NAZCA BUS - AREQUIPA

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will pick you up at your lodging to transfer you to the Nasca airfield where you will take the 35-minute flight over the enigmatic Nasca Lines. Discover monkeys, spiders and hummingbirds among other great figures, which you will observe from the sky in your plane. Free time for lunch and in the afternoon at 02:00 pm. We will make a land tour to the enigmatic Chauchilla Cemetery: It is the only cemetery in Peru that allows you to appreciate the mummies in their original tombs. It is one of the largest with a length of 2 kilometers, here we will see 12 tombs, you can observe the original constructions of tombs, mummies, ceramics and textiles with an approximate age of a thousand years. You will be able to see individual and collective tombs; we will be able to observe the mummification process that the ancient Nazca used to preserve the bodies. Afterwards we will visit the Ceramics Workshop, the Nazca pottery is considered the best pottery in South America and you will be able to observe how the Nazca artisans still use the techniques of their ancestors to make the ceramics, in a very short time and by hand, you will also observe the mineral oxides that they used to obtain the colors. The last place we will visit is the Gold Extraction Workshop, in this place you will see the gold process, how the material is brought from the hills and processed to extract the gold, using mercury. In the evening, trip to the city of Arequipa (about 10 hours).

Day 5
AREQUIPA: CITY TOUR AND MONASTERY OF SANTA CATALINA

Arrival in the city of Arequipa and transfer to your selected hotel (early check in). In the afternoon, at 2:00 pm. We will pick you up at your hotel for a pedestrian visit to the city of Arequipa, which includes the Plaza de Armas, one of the most beautiful squares in Peru, the Church of the Company, San Camilo Market, San Francisco Church, San Lazaro neighborhood and end with a visit to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, then we will return to the hotel.

Day 6
AREQUIPA - COLCA CANYON - CHIVAY:

We start our tour from 7:30 am. - 8:00 am. with the pick up of passengers from their respective lodgings and then head to the town of Chivay (04 hours approximately), passing through Pampa Cañahuas, watching the incompatible vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and migratory birds. Our first stop will be in Patahuasi where we will enjoy a hot drink to acclimatize the body due to the altitude. Later we will continue with the tour appreciating the lagoons and wetlands of Toqcrapampa, arriving then at the highest point of the journey Patapampa (4910 m.a.s.l.), also called the viewpoint of the Volcanoes, because from there you can see the volcanic chain. Then we will descend to the town of Chivay where we will have some time to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and accommodation in our respective lodgings. In the afternoon we will visit the thermal baths (15 minutes from Chivay) whose medicinal waters range between 38 ° C and 40 ° C where we will stay for an hour. In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner accompanied by a folkloric peña where we will be able to participate in these beautiful typical dances of the Colca Valley.

Day 7
COLCA CRUZ CONDOR CANYON / BUS TO PUNO

Early in the morning we have breakfast in our hotels and then head towards the Cruz del Condor where we can appreciate the formation of the Colca Canyon and the flight of the Condor (largest flying bird of the Andes) Then we will return making stops at different viewpoints such as Wayra Punko, Choquetico and Antahuilque during the tour we will have a panoramic view of the Colca Valley and observe various activities of the villagers. Arriving in Chivay, we will go to the establishment where we will taste a delicious buffet lunch. Departure at 1:15 pm from Chivay to Puno. On the way, we will make some stops in places like the viewpoint of volcanoes "Patapampa", we will also pass by Tocrapampa, a wetlands area where you can see South American camelids. We arrive to Patahuasi and make a stop at "Lagunillas", a viewpoint from where we can see lakes that look like mirrors and habitat of flamingos and other birds, our last stop will be in Puno at 7:00 pm. Approximately 7:00 pm. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 8
PUNO TITICACA LAKE, UROS FLOATING ISLAND AND TAQUILE ISLAND

Early in the morning at 07:15 am we will have an unforgettable boat excursion in the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique "Floating Islands" of the Uros. We continue our boat trip to the island of Taquile, its textiles are considered one of the finest in Peru. After lunch at a local inn in Taquile, we will enjoy typical dishes of the area and a presentation of dances, crafts and customs of the villagers. In the afternoon at approximately 3:00 pm, return to Puno to spend the night at the hotel (Hotel Intica or similar).

Day 9
THE ROUTE OF THE SUN / BUS PUNO - CUSCO

Breakfast. Early departure by bus to the city of Cusco at approximately 07:00 am. We travel along the high plateau of Collao, stopping in the town of Ayaviri, an important livestock and textile center, to visit the impressive Temple of Kalasasaya, remains of the ancient culture of Pucara. A few kilometers ahead, we pass through the ranch La Raya, where we can see herds of vicuñas and llamas. During the trip we will find the famous snow-capped mountain Chimboya where the Amazon River rises and time will be provided for photographs. Buffet lunch in a quiet country restaurant, where we can enjoy the delicious culinary art of the region. On the way we will stop in Raqchi, where we can see a spectacular Inca Sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec, and dedicated to the great Inca God Wiracocha. It has a large central wall with a stone base of fine Inca architecture. Other walls are made of giant adobe bricks. The structure also has two circular lateral columns. Surrounding the temple are several buildings that were once used for housing and storage. Then we head to the beautiful town of Andahuaylillas and visit the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to its decorated polychrome ceiling. Upon arrival in Cusco at approximately 5:00 pm, meet and transfer to your hotel (Hotel Monasterio de San Pedro or similar) Dinner on your own.

Day 10
CITY TOUR CUSCO AND NEARBY RUINS (KENKO-PUCA-PUCARA, TAMBOMACHAY, SACSAYHUAMAN:

In the afternoon 2:00 pm we will visit the city of Cusco touring the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then, we will leave the city to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its huge carved stones joined with amazing precision to form the outer walls. Some of these stones measure more than 9 m / 30 feet high and weigh more than 350 tons. Overnight at selected hotel in Cusco (Hotel Monasterio de San Pedro or similar).

Day 11
CUSCO SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

We will start in the morning at 7:30 am the excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas", a succession of picturesque villages, agricultural terraces and archaeological sites. The typical Indian market of Pisac. In the afternoon, we will pass through the towns of Calca and Urubamba to reach the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. On our way back to Cusco, we will visit the picturesque Andean village of Chinchero, where the remains of what was once the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui are located. We admire its well-preserved Inca Wall in the Plaza de Armas. We will visit the beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations, with interesting frescoes in the portico. Continue to Aguas Calientes to spend the night (Hotel Pucara or similar).

Day 12
MACHU PICCHU THE LOST CITY OF THE INCAS- STAY OVERNIGHT IN AGUAS CALIENTES

The day begins with an early morning ascent to the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas". A 30-minute bus ride, up 6 km of winding road, to the incredible Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel. After the tour, you will have time to walk around the archaeological site at your leisure. Lunch in the town of Aguas Calientes. Overnight at a hotel in Aguas Calientes (Hotel Pucara or similar).

Day 13
MACHUPICCHU: HOT WATER - CUSCO

Excellent opportunity to wake up early and enjoy a beautiful sunrise, as well as stroll through the town of Aguas Calientes, and visit its hot springs. Then, you will have time to do some of the following activities: (not included in the general price): Visit the Machu Picchu Citadel for the second time. For active or more adventurous people, we suggest climbing Huayna Picchu (depending on weather conditions) from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, all the more amazing for being high and distant. Reaching the summit takes approximately two and a half hours and it is recommended before 1:00 pm. It is necessary to register at the checkpoint at the beginning of the tour. An exciting adventure for travelers who want to see from the top, nature and the carved stone that emerges from the ground like a geological miracle. In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train and transfer to your selected hotel for the night (Hotel Monasterio de San Pedro or similar).

FLIGHT CUSCO / LIMA

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport to board your flight to Lima. Arrival in the city of Lima and international connection. We recommend buying a flight in the afternoon/evening for INTERNATIONAL CONNECTION. END OF SERVICE.

General Information

Travel document

To board in Peru is necessary to carry passport with 6 months validity, or original RG identity card, DNI or NIE depending on the place of origin with less than 10 years of use and in good condition, is not allowed to enter Peru with driver's license and others.

Reservations to visit Machu Picchu (Tickets)

The Ministry of Culture of Peru together with UNESCO establishes a daily amount of visitors for the visit of Machu Picchu (2.500) and the purchase of the entrance guarantees the vacancy of the passenger, so we request at the time of the reservation your personal data, as full name, passport or RG,DNI or NIE nationality, date of birth of each passenger.

There are currently two shifts for visits to Machupicchu Sanctuary.

First shift is from 06:00 to 12:00

Second shift from 12:00 to 17:30

Date changes

In case the passenger changes the date of the trip, there is no cost if it is done in advance, subject to availability and policies of the hotels and suppliers.

Cancellation

If a cancellation is received up to and including 30 days prior to the date of arrival in Peru or the start of the contracted service, the trip deposit will be fully reimbursable minus 25% for administrative expenses of the total trip.

If a cancellation is received 29-16 days before the arrival date or start of the contracted service, the refund will be subject to a penalty of 50% of the contracted price.

No refund will be granted if the cancellation is received less than 15 days before the date of arrival or start of the contracted service.

If a last minute sale is made and a refund is subsequently requested, the penalty applied will be 100% of the contracted price.

Failure to present the passenger(s) will result in the total loss of the contracted service without any refund.

Likewise, the cancellation or withdrawal of the service(s) contracted during the excursion will not entitle you to any refund.

Certain services may be interrupted or cancelled due to weather conditions, force majeure, acts of God, riots, demonstrations or strikes, etc. or others beyond the control of hotels, airlines, service providers or Be Fun Peru or its associates. No refunds will be given as a result of these interruptions or cancellations beyond our control.

Responsibility

In all arrangements Be Fun Peru acts on behalf of our clients, organizing on their behalf the means of transportation, accommodation or other tourist services required, therefore we do not assume responsibility in case of accidents, losses, delays or interferences with the tours due to force majeure or other events that do not involve our responsibility, especially with respect to programs and schedules.

Important

Our company is not responsible for diseases, physical and/or mental disabilities, contracted that may jeopardize the health or integrity of the passenger or third parties during the development of the contracted tour, or that imply limitation or impediment to the provision of our tourism services.

Therefore, the Company will NOT recognize any claim or refund for the concepts mentioned, including cases where under normal conditions no problem is manifested.

We request that you inform us prior to contracting our services of the existence of any limitations of this nature, in order to recommend specific services that contemplate such impediments.

Legal Framework

Both parties agree that this contract is entered into in accordance with Peruvian law.

HOW TO BOOK?

STEP 1:

  • Once we are aware of the general information and confirm the trip with us, we request the following data:

  • First and last names
  • Passport number, DNI, NIE, RG (6 months validity)
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • International flight itinerary.

STEP 3:

  • After receiving the requested data we proceed to book hotels, services, buses, internal flights, for a period of 3 days once everything is confirmed we will issue your travel coupons and send all the information to your email.

STEP 4:

  • After giving the conformity of the trip we request the transfer of 50% of advance in the name of the company or virtual payment with credit card, the balance must be paid upon arrival in Peru in cash or credit card.
  • For reservations on the Inca Trail, Salkantay, Choquequirao, a 60% deposit is required and must be reserved well in advance.

STEP 5:

  • Upon your arrival in Peru, a representative of the company will board you at the airport with a sign with your name on it and transfer you to the selected hotel where we will coordinate the delivery of your original travel coupons, flights and buses according to your services. After you are satisfied, you will make the payment of the remaining 80% in cash dollars or credit card and start enjoying our wonderful Peru.
