Mystical Cusco: 5 Days, 4 Nights

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO

Pickup at the Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel.

Overnight stay and free evening.

DAY 2: HOME OF THE GODS – SACSAYHUAMAN

We begin at 9:00 a.m. with a 3-hour ATV ride to the Morada de los Dioses, a complex of stone sculptures ranging from 4 to 8 meters in height dedicated to the gods of the Inca culture. We’ll visit Lake Piuray and then return to Cusco.

At 2:30 p.m., we’ll pick you up to continue our tour of the Sacsayhuamán fortress and Quenqo, which means “labyrinth.” We’ll also visit Puka Pukara, or the Red Fortress, and finally Tambomachay.

Return from the tour and transfer to the selected hotel.

DAY 3: EXCURSION TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 a.m. and head to the entrance of the Sacred Valley in Pisac, where we will visit the archaeological site and the traditional market in Pisac, where you can buy souvenirs. Afterward, we will head to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch, and then continue on to Ollantaytambo to take the train to Aguas Calientes for the night.

DAY 4: VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU

I'll pick you up at your lodging in Aguas Calientes to take the bus to Machu Picchu.

Upon arriving at Machu Picchu, we'll take a 2-hour tour of the citadel while our guide tells us about the history of this enigmatic place. We'll have some free time to take photos.

On the way back, we'll stop in Aguas Calientes for lunch before heading to Cusco.

DAY 5: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT

At the appointed time, we’ll pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the airport to catch your flight to Lima or your international connecting flight.
