Paracas
Paracas Full Day
Why Choose This Experience
Enjoy a full day exploring two of Paracas’ most iconic attractions in an experience that combines nature, coastal landscapes, and marine life. This tour begins with a trip to the Ballestas Islands, where you’ll sail through Paracas Bay and see the famous Candelabro, a mysterious geoglyph located on the peninsula.
The tour then continues to the islands, where you can see impressive rock formations and a wide variety of species that inhabit the area. During the boat ride, the guide will share information about the local flora and fauna while you enjoy spotting sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and various seabirds such as boobies, guanayes, cormorants, and zarcillos. At the end of this first part of the tour, you’ll return to the El Chaco pier.
Afterward, you’ll have about an hour of free time, perfect for strolling along the El Chaco boulevard, browsing the craft shops, or simply relaxing by the sea. Later, the tour continues with a visit to the Paracas National Reserve, one of the most breathtaking landscapes on the Peruvian coast.
Within the reserve, you’ll discover places of great natural beauty, such as the area around the old cathedral, famous for its rock formations shaped by wind and sea erosion. You’ll also stop at Playa Roja, known for the unique reddish color of its sand and its breathtaking views. Finally, you’ll visit Lagunillas, a traditional fishing village where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the scenery and sample the local cuisine before returning to the starting point.
