Ballestas Islands + Golden Shadows Trek
Why Choose This Experience
The tour begins with a visit to the Ballestas Islands. Our first stop will be the Candelabro, located on the Paracas Peninsula, then we’ll continue to the islands, where we’ll be able to admire the rock formations while the guide explains the local flora and fauna. You’ll be able to spot animals such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and various bird species, including boobies, guanay, cormorants, and zarcillos, among others. At the end of the tour, we’ll return to the starting point in the Chaco.
Afterward, you'll have some free time to take a walk along Chaco Boulevard, where you can browse the craft shops and enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants located there.
At 3:00 p.m., we’ll meet at our office to begin our next adventure. Enjoy a long hike through the Paracas National Reserve to watch the sunset. Along the way, you’ll see towering cliffs and experience a profound connection with nature as you witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. When the hike is over, we’ll return to the starting point.
