DAY 1: INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL

Pickup at the Juliaca airport and transfer to your hotel in Puno.

Overnight.

DAY 2: VISIT TO UROS AND AMANTANI

We’ll start by picking you up at your lodging and taking you to the port to visit two floating islands in the Uros and continue on to Amantani Island, where we’ll be welcomed by local families and walk with them to local homes in Amantani to enjoy a traditional lunch.

In the afternoon, we'll take a 1-hour hike to the top of the island to watch the sunset and admire the two beautiful mountains, Pacahamama and Pachatata.

On our way back, we'll have dinner at a local family's home.

OPTIONAL: You can join the welcome party organized by the families, featuring local music and dances.

DAY 3: TAQUILE

After breakfast, we’ll take a boat to Taquile to enjoy a presentation of the locals’ dances, crafts, and traditions. We’ll have a traditional lunch, and finally, in the afternoon, we’ll return to the port of Puno. Transfer to Cusco.

DAY 4: INCA TRAIL – MACHU PICCHU

We’ll leave very early for the starting point of the hike, where we’ll visit the archaeological ruins of Chachabamba—a site where agricultural products were once harvested—and take in the view of the Urubamba River. We’ll visit the Wiñaywayna archaeological site for lunch, and in the afternoon we’ll continue our hike to Machu Picchu, where we’ll take a 2-hour tour of the citadel with free time to take photos. Afterward, we’ll return to Cusco.

DAY 5: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT

I'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport for your international flight.
