Summary
Why Choose This Experience
The Incas built thousands of terraces for growing various crops, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, quinoa, and more. Perhaps the most beautiful of all was Moray, a circular system of terraces that still stands today. Nearby are natural salt pits formed thousands of years ago. This site is known as the Maras Salt Mines, and together with Moray, they are two of the most popular tourist attractions in Cusco.
Duration: Approximately 5 hours.
